Back Story of the Famous Cover Series Rogue Figure

Possessing mutant powers that are both a blessing and a curse, Rogue is as strong as she is beautiful. Absorbing the powers and memories of anyone she comes into physical contact with, even shaking hands is impossible for Rogue. Having permanently gained the power of Flight as well as great physical strength and invulnerability, Rogue is a valued member of the X-Men team.

Presented here as she appeared in the premier issue of her limited series, Rogue wears her X-Men uniform. In a story entitled, "An Affair to Remember" Rogue returns to Mississippi where she faces the ghost of her past. During her visit home, Rogue must stand bedside vigil beside her childhood friend Cody – until a group of deadly assassins strike. Rogue's friend has been taken by Bella Donna, the Assassin's Guild Leader and former wife of her infamous lover, Gambit. Now Rogue must face the Assassin's Guild alone and the fact that she may never escape the mistakes of her past!
