Packaging of the Toybiz 8-Inch Spider-Man Action Figure
The 8-inch scale Spider-Man figure from Toybiz comes in a double wide 14" x 10" x approximately 2.5" deep box. The front panel of Spider-Man's box opens like a book and is attached on the underside with a velcro latch.
Toybiz has designed the box so that two circles are die-cut into the front panel revealing the figures' faces. When you lift that front panel, you reveal the entire Toybiz Spider-Man figure behind a clear plastic window.
All sides of the packaging from this Toybiz figure are covered in full-color graphics. Toybiz features Marvel Comics Amazing Spider-Man #9 on the front of the packaging of their Spider-Man figure.
Head Sculpt & Body of the 8-Inch Toybiz Spider-Man Action Figure
This Famous Cover Series Spider-Man figure utilizes a recycled Famous Cover Series Amazing Spider-Man head sculpt. The re-use of the Peter Parker head is not obvious since Spider-Man is wearing a removable mask.
Spider-Man utilizes a standard Famous Cover Series male super-hero body with 14-points of articulation. These include her neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, waist, groin, knees, and ankles.
Back Story of the Famous Cover Series Spider-Man Figure
Facing off against one of his most powerful enemies, Spider-Man uses wits and speed against the villainous Electro. Wielding incredibly dangerous bolts of pure electricity, Electro has proven time and time again that he will not be easily stopped by the wall crawler.
Presented here as they appeared in the classic Amazing Spider-Man #9, Spiderman and Electro face off in the villain's very first appearance. Trying to raise money for his Aunt May's medical bills, Peter Parker searches the city as Spider-Man for something to take photos of that he can sell to the Daily Bugle. Meanwhile Bugle editor J. Jonah Jameson has used the crime spree of Electro to implicate Spider-Man as the villain. Finally getting the pictures of Spider-Man fighting and defeating Electro, Peter is able to help his Aunt, and clear Spider-Man's tarnished name.
