Back Story of the Famous Cover Series Wolverine Figure
Wolverine, also known as Logan, is genetically endowed with animal keen senses and a healing factor that can quickly mend almost any wound. However, along with these gifts there comes a curse - a berserker rage that he must forever struggle to control. Wolverine's deadliest weapons are his unbreakable skeleton and razor-sharp adamantium claws that he uses to protect the world that fears and hate him as a member of the X-Men.
Presented here, as he appeared in Uncanny X-Men number 222, Wolverine wears his brown and tan stealth costume. In a story entitled "Heartbreak", Wolverine must battle his arch enemy, Sabretooth, after the Marauder known as Scrambler uses his mutant powers to take away Wolverine's super senses and fast healing ability. Sabretooth attacks Wolverine, thinking he'll be helpless without his powers, but he didn't count on Wolverine's adamantium skeleton. After Sabretooth breaks his hand punching Wolverine's diamond hard chin, the X-Man uses his claws to end the fight, proving once again that Logan "is the best there is at what he does".
