History of Poison Ivy
Real Name: Pamela Lillian Isley
Occupation: Professional Criminal
Base: Gotham City
Height: 5' 6"
Hair: Chestnut
Eyes: Green
Weight: 110 lb.
Chlorophyll, not blood courses through the veins of Pamela Isley. Transformed by the self-styled "Floronic Man," Jason Woodrue, the shrinking violet Isley bloomed into the ravishing Poison Ivy, a human/plant hybrid whose skin was toxic to the touch and shed fragrant pheromones capable of entangling men in her charms. Ivy used these abilities for thievery, thus becoming a thorn in the side of Batman. But as her human side withered, Ivy grew more passionately intolerant of abuses against Natura's flora, making herself over as a self-styled guerrilla guardian of the green. She nurtured Gotham's polluted Robinson Park into a verdant haven for the wayward orphans of No Man's Land, relinquishing control only to spare the park's defoliation. Ivy nevertheless has more seeds to sow.
Hope Springs Eternal
Ivy's willingness to provide food and shelter to the children of disaster may signal a more permanent shift towards altruism on her part. In addition to the human "sprouts" she nurtured during NML, Ivy also cared for an injured Harley Quinn. Only time will tell if their blossoming friendship means more to Ivy's personal growth than just a comely criminal collaboration.
