DARTH MAUL is Dath Sidious's apprentice and one of the most dangerous and highly trained Sith in the history of the Order. His entire body is tattooed with symbols that show his heritage of the warrior tribe known as the Nightbrothers of Dathomir.
Darth Sidious started training his apprentice when Mauk was young. Maul serves his Sith Master obediently, believing that his own time for ultimate power will come soon enough.
Maul versus Kenobi
Sent to capture Queen Amidala during the invasion of Naboo, Maul gives two Jedi the rare opportunity to fight a trained Sith warrior. Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn first fights a duel with Maul on Tatooine. Jinn faces Maul a second time on Naboo, this time with Obi-Wan Kenobi, who finally defeats the evil Sith.
Darth Maul wears a black Field Cloak and Heavy-Action boots. His entire face (his entire head in fact) is covered in red and black tattoos. He utilizes a double-bladed lightsaber with a red blade. The blade is red due to the nature of its internal crystals.
