Toybiz Famous Cover Series 8-Inch Storm Figure

Toybiz and Marvel Comics present this 8-inch scale Storm figure as part of their Famous Cover Series line of figures.

Packaging of the Toybiz 8-Inch Storm Action Figure

The 8-inch scale Storm figure from Toybiz comes in an 8" x 10" x approximately 2.5" deep box. The front panel of this Storm's box opens like a book and is attached on the underside with a velcro latch.

Toybiz has designed the Famous Cover Series X-Man's box so that a circle is die-cut into the front panel revealing her face. When you lift that front panel, you reveal the entire Toybiz Storm figure behind a clear plastic window.

All sides of the Famous Cover Series packaging from this Toybiz figure are covered in full-color graphics. The front panel also utilizes metallic gold foil highlights. Toybiz features Storm in Marvel Comics Uncanny X-Men number 126 on the front of the packaging of their Storm figure.

Head Sculpt & Body of the 8-Inch Toybiz Storm Action Figure

The Storm figure from Toybiz features a unique head sculpt with painted white eyes and long white rooted hair. This Storm head sculpt would later be recycled for the Famous Cover Series Invisible Woman figure.

Storm utilizes a standard Famous Cover Series female super-hero body with 14-points of articulation which include her neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, waist, groin, knees, and ankles.

Back Story of the Famous Cover Series Storm Figure

Orphaned at a young age, Ororo Munroe grew up to become the X-Man known as Storm. Born different than her fellow man, Storm's mutant abilities allow her to control one of the most primal forces of nature... the weather. Summoning great winds and thunder, Storm can use her abilities to fly through the air and even attack her enemies with powerful bolts of lightning.

Presented here as she looked in the classic Uncanny X-Men #126 from April of 1980Storm wears the same costume she did during her very first appearance.

Responding to the appearance of out of control mutant, ProteusStorm and her fellow X-Men arrived on the scene. Using her incredible mutant powers of weather control, Storm works together with Nightcrawler, Colossus, and Cyclops to restrain the mutant in hopes of helping him learn to control his own unique abilities.
