Back Story of the Famous Cover Series Nightcrawler Figure

Kurt Wagner, the mutant codenamed Nightcrawler, has an appearance as exceptional as his powers. Nightcrawler's dark blue skin, tail, and glowing eyes make him one of the most bizarre looking member of the X-Men team. He uses his mutant powers of teleporting short distances, blending into shadows and his ability to stick to walls to give himself the upper hand against any opponent he might face.

Presented here, as he appeared in a solo story featured in X-Men Unlimited #19, Nightcrawler again wears his first and most famous costume. In the story entitled "Unforgiven", Nightcrawler travels to the timeless dimension of Limbo with his sometime girlfriend and mystical sorceress Amanda Sefton, to save his imprisoned adopted mother from the demon known as a Belasco. Belasco has captured her in order to gain the incredible power she wields as the keeper of the Winding Way. Now the unarmed mutant daredevil must risk life and limb to save a damsel in distress from the demon lord and his harrowing horde.
