Packaging of the Toybiz 8-Inch Magneto Action Figure

The 8-inch scale Magneto figure from Toybiz comes in an 8" x 10" x approximately 2.5" deep box. The front panel of Magneto's box opens like a book and is attached on the underside with a velcro latch.

Toybiz has designed Magneto's box so that a circle is die-cut into the front panel revealing the figure's face. When you lift that front panel, you reveal the entire Toybiz Magneto figure behind a clear plastic window.

All sides of the packaging from this Toybiz figure are covered in full-color graphics. The front panel also utilizes metallic gold foil highlights. Toybiz features Marvel Comics X-Men number 1 on the front of the packaging of their Magneto figure.

Magneto utilizes a standard Famous Cover Series male super-villain body with 14-points of articulation which include neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, waist, groin, knees, and ankles.

Appearing against the X-Men in their very first adventure, the self-styled Master of Magnetism proved to be the X-Men's most exceptional foe. With the mutant ability to manipulate magnetic fields, Magneto has used his power to become one of the most dangerous men on the face of the Earth. Able to stem the course of ships, stop bullets, and even alter objects on a molecular level, Magneto's power knows few bounds.

Presented here as he appeared in the record-selling X-Men #1, Magneto wears the classic costume that is his trademark. Tired of the trials and attempts to change mankind's hatred towards mutants, Magneto has finally decided to retire to the safe haven of his orbiting headquarters, Asteroid M. But his retirement is cut short when a group of mutants calling themselves the Acolytes travel to Magneto to pledge their loyalty to him. No sooner do these Acolytes show up than the governments of the world realize the threat Magneto could pose, and they quickly move to destroy Magneto as well as his new followers. Recovering nuclear weapons from a downed Russian submarine, Magneto manages to fend off military attacks, as well as an assault from the X-Men before returning to his base of operations and his new agenda!
