Packaging of the Toybiz 8-Inch Aunt May Action Figure

The 8-inch Aunt May figure from Toybiz comes in an 8" x 10" x approximately 2.5" deep box. The front panel of the box opens like a book and is latched on the underside with a velcro latch.

Toybiz has designed the box so that a circle is die-cut into the front panel revealing Aunt May's face. When you lift that front panel, you reveal the entire Toybiz Aunt May figure behind a clear plastic window.

All sides of the packaging from this Toybiz figure are covered in full-color graphics. Toybiz features Marvel Comics Amazing Spider-Man number 115 on the front of the packaging of their Aunt May figure.

Head Sculpt & Body of the 8-Inch Toybiz Aunt May Action Figure

This Famous Cover Series Aunt May figure features a unique head sculpt with blue painted eyes and white rooted hair. The hair is styled into a bun.

Aunt May utilizes a standard Famous Cover Series female body with 14-points of articulation including neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, waist, groin, knees, and ankles.

Back Story of the Famous Cover Series Aunt May Figure

When Peter Parker was left an orphan, his Uncle Ben and Aunt May took him in and raised him themselves. Learning responsibility and kindness from them, Peter eventually grew up to become the crime fighting super hero, Spider-Man. Peter keeps his identity as Spider-Man a secret to protect his loved ones, not even Aunt May suspects the truth about her nephew.

Presented here as she appeared in the classic Amazing Spider-Man #115, Aunt May has inadvertently found herself on the side of Doctor Octopus! Afraid and distrustful of the costumed Spider-Man, and thinking Doc Ock to be a benevolent scientist, Aunt May sides with the villain. Though Spider-Man eventually stops Octopus, the story concludes with the unlikely event of Aunt May becoming care taker of Doc Ock's laboratory and house while he is taken to prison, leaving behind a confused, dumbfounded Peter Parker.
