Back Story of the Sixth-Scale Cornelius from Sideshow Collectibles
The chimpanzee Cornelius is a promising young archeologist devoted to furthering the advances he has made in science, a relatively new field on the Ape Planet. After an expedition to the Forbidden Zone, Cornelius found artifacts and bones from a culture more advanced than Ape, dating back before their recorded time. Through this Cornelius formed the radical theory that Ape evolved from a lower order of primate, possibly Man. This did not go over well with Academy of Dr. Zaius, the feared Minister of Science, who declare his findings of evolution to be heresy. The Academy restricts Cornelius from traveling again to the Forbidden Zone. Wanting to secure his future in Ape society, Cornelius complies and becomes more cautious in making his discoveries known. But when the human oddity Taylor is captured, Cornelius sees him as the missing link to his theories. Torn between loyalty to Ape and his personal beliefs, Cornelius has to make the bravest decision of his life. in the face of simian danger, Cornelius and his fiancée, Zira, heroically risk everything to help Taylor escape to freedom, finding the shocking truth of the Origin of Ape along the way...
