Marvel Comics presents this Cyclops figure from Toybiz. Cyber Armor Cyclops stands 10 1/4" high and has 9-points of articulation. Released in 1998, Cyber Armor Cyclops comes clad in a high-tech bodysuit colored in gold and blue.
This Cyber Armor Cyclops action figure is actually a repaint of the same body we saw used on the 10-inch Professor X figure from this same line and was originally used for the 10-inch Tony Stark Tehcno-Suit figure from the Toybiz Deluxe Iron Man line.
Cyber Armor Cyclops also comes with a repainted harness and the helmet from the 10-inch Weapon X Wolverine figure from the X-Men 10-inch Deluxe line.
The head sculpt for this Cyber Armor Cyclops is the same one used for the first edition 10-inch Deluxe Cyclops figure from the X-Men Deluxe line.
Back Story of this Cyber Armor Cyclops Figure from Toybiz
Being hunted and disliked for simply being yourself is nothing new for X-Men co-leader Cyclops or for your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man, but for Iron Man it's a whole new experience and not one he enjoys. So, when Sentinels impose Marshall Law on the New York City populace, and expand their hunt from only mutants, to all beings with the ability to stop them, Iron Man rounds up Spidey and Cyclops and sets about evening up the odds by building them each special armor. Cyclop's Cyber Armor helps shield him from mutant hunting probes and augments his optic blasts. Spider-Man's Web Armor adds high-tech shielding from Sentinel blasts without adding a lot of weight which allows him to twist and leap his way to safety. Iron Man straps on his special Deep Space Armor because he knows it is the one set that he has that the Sentinels are not calibrated to pick-up. Together the three heroes know they can stop this threat to people's freedom everywhere.
