SCARLET WITCH Custom Sixth-Scale ACTION FIGURE

I picked up this Scarlet Witch figure from a customizer on Ebay. Sixth scale figures are a big favorite of mine since Marvel and DC have never made many of their characters in this format.

The level of detail on this figure is incredible for a custom and would even be pretty incredible for a mass manufactured figure by a large company. A huge amount of care was taken to create a comic accurate outfit with a level of detail and workmanship not often seen. The bodysuit mixes a combination of magenta spandex-type material with red pleather. The torso, forearms, and boots are covered in the pleather. The legs, arms and chest are covered in the magenta spandex.

The stitching is ridiculously neat especially when you consider that the outfit doesn't appear to be easily removed (i.e. no visible zippers or snaps). The outfit is completed with a removable red cape and attached hood which affixes to the figure with a miniature eye & hook near the front of the neck.

The partial face mask is sculpted separately from the head but permanently affixed to the face. Scarlet Witch's face is framed by both the mask and her long auburn rooted hair. Although the eyes themselves are a little eerie, the head sculpt is painted with an amazing amount of detail and care. While I wouldn't say that this head sculpt is traditionally beautiful, it certainly is unique and appropriate for this character.

Each of the hands are painted glossy red to perfectly match the pleather forearm material and create the illusion of long gloves. Several of the fingers have rings and all are poised as if casting a hexing spell.

Unlike many of the mass manufactured sixth-scale figures, this custom Scarlet Witch figure doesn't have zippers on the boots and I'm happy about that. Zippers can never be miniaturized to the point that they don't give away the miniature nature of the figure. Besides, the cape is the only removable item on this figure so zippers on the boots would have been totally unnecessary.

This Scarlet Witch custom figure is a must-have for any Avengers fan. Good luck finding it though... technically it's not really "for sale".
