This 8-inch scale GORN action figure is a reproduction of the Mego Star Trek 8-inch GORN action figure and is part of the Star Trek 8-inch Retro Cloth line from Diamond. While Gorn is a repro, Diamond Select Toys has not attempted to reproduce the original MEGO head. The reason being is that the original simply repurposed a Mego 8-inch scale LIZARD head (the Amazing Spider-Man villain), casting it in brown instead of green. This time around, Diamond has created a new headsculpt much more in the likeness of the actual GORN character that appeared on the original Star Trek TV series.
