MEGO PLANET OF THE APES GENERAL URKO Action Figure
Fully articulated 8-inch scale General Urko action figure from Mego and their 1970s Planet of the Apes line of toys.
This GENERAL URKO action figure represents the character as he appeared in the 1974 live-action television series on CBS. URKO was played by actor MARK LENARD. Lenard is well known for having played the Vulcan Ambassador on the original Star Trek TV series.
General Urko was later included in the Planet of the Apes animated series.

Urko has a highly detailed removable cloth uniform. He wears removable black boots that fall short of his knees.Urko's pants and sleeves are purple. The torso part of his top is made from a beige pleather-like material with matching accetns on the wrist which act as gloves. The uppermost part of his top is covered in a very cool circular shape made from a charcoal grey material with a raised circle pattern.

GENERAL URKO wears a brown bandolier which holds a silver knife. URKO also has a black rifle which can be held over his torso by the brown thread that acts as a strap.
URKO's helmet is sculpted as part of his head. The MEGO General Urko figure has the standard points of articulation for a figure of this type. These include his neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, waist, groin, knees, and ankles.
