Back Story of the Hasbro 9-Inch Green Lantern Action Figure
He is a man without fear. A man with supreme will power. And the greatest and most honored member of the intergalactic force for good known is the Green Lantern Corps.
It all began when test pilot Hal Jordan was brought by a strange, green energy to the side of a dying alien named Abin Sur. The alien explained that he was a Green Lantern, and passed on his Power Ring and Battery of Power to Jordan, along with his mission: to protect the Earth and its neighboring planets from any threats that may arise.
Due to a necessary impurity in its design, the Power Ring cannot stand against anything colored yellow. Also, the Ring must be recharged at the Power Battery once every 24 hours. Aside from these two limitations, the Power Ring is one of the mightiest weapons in the universe, able to create virtually anything its wearer can imagine.
