I really wanted to like this figure. I was so excited when I heard about it and very excited to find out that the 1966 Adam West Batman from Tonner would not have rooted hair. Two of the problems that have really hurt Tonner with regards to their male figures are the rooted hair and the non-masculine faces. Well, Adam West was created without the rooted hair and the molded style is a huge improvement even if the painted color is much lighter than Adam's actual hair. The head sculpt definitely resembles Adam West but he seems to have been "Tonnerfied". To me, it looks like a more boyish Adam West -- not the man we saw on the 1966 Batman television series. The other big problem is the quality of the cowl which is absolutely awful. Tonner is known for highly detailed quality outfits and this Batman uniform not only missed the mark by mismatching the 1966 Batman series colors, but it is not representative of the $200 price tag. Seriously, the quality of the Batman uniform looks more reminiscent of a $20 Barbie doll and not typical of Tonner's usual high standards.
